Hello there. My name is Emily and I’ve been writing and creating art for small businesses and using that art to tell the world about them for about seven years now. I’d like to work with you and your small, conscious company and help you become a larger conscious company with artful content and heartfelt, organic growth.
In my other life I’m a singer songwriter and poet with two self published albums and three books of poetry. I’m a mom and a wife and a fierce defender of women’s rights and mental illness awareness.
I believe business is supposed to be a force of good in this world. I believe capitalism can be conscious. I choose my clients based on their values and the impact they have on our world.
Here’s the highlights:
· I worked with EO Products for five years and was on the original creative team that launched the everyone brand. I unified, developed and evolved their language internally as well as externally by way of everything from label copy to optimized blogs to PR interviews to ghost writing books and articles. I created their brand guidelines, company ethos and worked with the senior team intimately during my time there, shaping the company that they are today.
· I am the creative team for Meli Wraps, a natural beeswax food wrap company. I have helped to develop their brand and create their graphics since they started. Their new hand-illustrated packaging will be debuting in Whole Foods this fall! Look for the pineapple print – I designed that with the owners.
· Amanda Ross Skin Care is another client, I’ve been managing her social media, creating sales tools and updating her labels. A new website is also on the way with SEO optimized copy, bold color blocked grids and gorgeous botanical graphics.
· The Path of IX is a life coach and corporate shaman. We’ve grown her social following from 100 to 1K with a reach of over 5K in a month. A whole section on her website is now dedicated to Mayan astrology. I researched, developed and created all the copy for twenty signs and thirteen tones which is now used to create a daily reading on her social channels.
